When you hit the mall this season, don’t forget to check a few bright items off your list. This spring, adorn yourself in the hottest colors from pink to yellow to blue to green, and any other bright color that you like!

Of course the most important thing when working with bright colors is to not overdo it. A lot of women make the mistake of mixing colors that either don’t match or look too bright for anyone’s eyes.

Avoid making this mistake by mixing in some neutral colors with a vivid palette. This will draw the attention away from all the color and therefore it won’t be so overbearing.

Match a pair of wood clogs or cork wedges with skinny jeans and a bright purple top (or any color top for that matter). If you choose to go for a bright skirt for example, keep it simple on the top by matching it with beije or white, and going simple on the footwear.

If you’re wearing big, colorful accessories, keep the rest of your outfit simple. An embellished necklace will look great with a simple white tee and jeans. You don’t need any more than that.

Make your outfit more exciting by mixing a boring neutral top or dress with a bright belt like red, blue or yellow. Top it off with a pair of wedges.
